As a real working girl, I do not get Christmas off this year. That is the bad thing about being a nurse...holidays, weekends, nights....they mean absolutely nothing. So, we had to go all out and decorate for the upcoming holiday. We decided to get a live Christmas tree and were talking about it with some friends. They graciously offered to grab us an extra tree while they were up in the mountains scouting one out for themselves. Our tree, as you can see, is a tiny little thing--we didn't even use half of the ornaments we have--but it is cute. Notice the tree skirt...it was my sewing project for the season. The wreath is also homemade...the picture doesn't do it justice. Ahhhh...how I adore Christmas.
